John Kester |
| John Kester is a multi-disciplinary artist, photographer, and graphic designer. Over
the last nine years he has searched for interesting and memorable ways
to layer photography, the written word, and found objects. His work is
considered both style-agnostic and idea-paramount. Kester’s art
projects have been cathartic and counter-point to his graphic design
work. Since 2006, Kester has exclusively focused his attention on
exploring of the female form with its relationships with untamed
emotion. The theme of "passion" interweaves itself effortlessly through
the most critical reactions to these studies of form and message. John
regularly donates artwork to local charity events in Jacksonville,
Florida. Notable are submissions to silent auctions that include St.
Vincent's Charities, ArtReach Association, and a feature show by the
Unitarian Universalist Association in Jacksonville. Additionally, he
has shown work at BOGDA Gallery, Leonardo's Bistro in Gainesville,
Florida, and the Downtown Artwalk in the Hayden Burns Library. Check
