John Kester

John Kester is a multi-disciplinary artist, photographer, and graphic designer.
Over the last nine years he has searched for interesting and memorable ways to layer photography, the written word, and found objects. His work is considered both style-agnostic and idea-paramount. Kester’s art projects have been cathartic and counter-point to his graphic design work. Since 2006, Kester has exclusively focused his attention on exploring of the female form with its relationships with untamed emotion. The theme of "passion" interweaves itself effortlessly through the most critical reactions to these studies of form and message.

John regularly donates artwork to local charity events in Jacksonville, Florida. Notable are submissions to silent auctions that include St. Vincent's Charities, ArtReach Association, and a feature show by the Unitarian Universalist Association in Jacksonville. Additionally, he has shown work at BOGDA Gallery, Leonardo's Bistro in Gainesville, Florida, and the Downtown Artwalk in the Hayden Burns Library. Check out new work on May 6th at the Downtown Jacksonville Artwalk as well as updates on his website.

John maintains an informal collaborative study on his
flickr site at http://flickr.com/saturated. His personal blog and links to
his social networking personas can be found at http://johnmkester.com.
