| About the Artist:
Before he and his family migrated into United States of America, Nuestro is the head of the Painting Department of School of Fine Arts and design, Philippine Women’s University and the Director of Arias Artspace an Artist-run Independent art space, run and manage by artists and collector, located in Makati City, Philippines.
He is widely exhibited artist, in 2008 He has an exhibition of Paintings titled “Nuestro” at the White Cube Gallery Metropolitan Museum of Manila , curated by Emmanuel Eric Torres [The former curator of Ateneo Museum one of the leading Art Critic in the Philippines]. In 2003 He exhibited his works at Pasilyo Edades, Cultural Center of the Philippines and 1999 at the Lopez Museum Gallery , Benpress building Pasig City.
He is known for his consistent exhibition of works on paper, using water based media, collages and drawings , as an exhibiting artist of The Drawing Room Contemporary Art , from 1999 to 2005 and from 2006 in Arias Artspace... |
