| | The event at the Mandolin Cafe' was a well-attended gathering of friends and readers. I had the privilege of interviewing a former student of mine who has autism and he aptly expressed some of his struggles and hopes in dealing with his disability. Opportunities for individuals with disabilities are still limited and we need to increase awareness and acceptance of those with differences among us. Thanks to Mohsen Mirghanbari for helping me set up this successful book event! |
