Unlike learning history by reading books on the desk, learning floral designs requires hands on training by experienced instructor. One on one instructions based on a small group class system is quite ideal way for students to earn practical skills easily and quickly.
If you have ever attended a floral arranging class at a local community college, you MAY find lots of students in a class. One teacher must take care of many students for teaching floral arrangements. It is very good to learn name of flowers, history of floral arrangements, design concept, type and name of floral designs as well as other theory and concept behind actual flower arrangements by attending a college lecture.
However when it comes to actual hands on training for floral decorations, it MAY be quite difficult for one instructor to take care of lots of students at the classroom. This is not a fault of instructor but a fault of system itself. Once the number of students exceed 5 or 6 per class, it is quite difficult to implement ONE ON ONE instructions or semi private lessons.
According to some students who joined
California Flower Art Academy, they had good opportunities at floral design class at a local community college for learning theory, history and concept relating to floral arranging. One thing which is lacking is hands on training of ONE ON ONE instructions with interactive communications.
California Flower Art Academy is pleased to train students who want to earn practical skills through semi-private lesson of small group class system limiting number of students to no more than 4 per class (typically 2 to 3 students per class).
If you are looking for a floral design school or flower arranging class offering semi private lesson of ONE ON ONE instructions, we can recommend California Flower Art Academy where you can get along with experienced instructors and may find a friend who can stimulate and motivate you for earning a higher level of flower arranging skills.
