1. Wide Range of Programs:
We offer a variety of programs from European floral designs to Japanese Ikebana, wedding to funeral decorations, beginner to professional levels, elementary to instructor course, one day seminar to official courses. Student can choose his/her most favorite course from a
WIDE RANGE OF PROGRAMS we offer.
2. Flexible Lesson Schedule:
Students can set up his/her own favorite class schedule well considering his/her convenience. Our school offers lessons on a regular basis (every week constantly). Students can start taking lessons at any time he/she likes as far as we have space available.
3. Classes offered on Weekdays and also Weekend:
Our school offers lessons not only on weekdays but also on the weekend to support busy people. If a student cannot spare time during daytime, he/she can join our evening class.
4. Reschedule of lesson is OK:
If a student would like to reschedule his/her lesson day, it is possible subject to the conditions that a student needs to make a request for reschedule 7 days prior to the next scheduled lesson day (Request for reschedule at a last minute is absolutely unacceptable). As far as this rule is followed, students can enjoy a flexible lesson schedule.
5. Affordable lesson fee:
The lesson fee announced on our website includes not only tuition but also flowers and other materials used for floral decorations (except Ikebana Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced Course: The lesson fee for Ikebana Short Seminar Program includes everything). Our school set up a lesson fee at a very affordable level. Despite of remarkable price hike of flower materials and classroom rent fee, we always try to avoid increase of lesson fees or minimize increase rate to support our students.
6. Certified by Flower Decorators Association (Tokyo, Japan):
Since 1990 our school has been certified by Flower Decorators Association (Tokyo, Japan) who is one of the best established and most prestigious floral associations in Japan.
7. Business Oriented Courses Available:
In order to support students who would like to start their own floral shop or engage in wedding or funeral flower decorating services, we offer business oriented course such as Wedding Party Arrangement Basic Course, Wedding Decoration Advanced Course and Funeral Floral Decoration Course etc. Students can earn practical floral arranging skills which meet specific goals.
8. Hands on training of ONE ON ONE instructions:California Flower Art Academy offers hands on training of ONE ON ONE instructions (semi-private lesson) based on small group class system limiting number of students to no more than 6 per class (typically 2 to 3 students per class).
