After learning floral arranging skills at
California Flower Art Academy, some students engage in floral business that is a full time or part time job such as running their own floral design class (This happens mainly in Japan due to high demand to floral arrangement lessons), opening their own floral shop or offering floral decorating services to various events such as birthday and weddings etc.
From time to time graduates request us to support their activities/events where they display floral designs they make. Our instructor sometimes spare time to help such events at her full discretion. Once in a while some students would like to participate in such events as a volunteer because it is a good experience to engage in actual floral decorations at the actual event places.
In the United States we often help make wedding floral arrangements that require sufficient preparation of materials before a wedding day. On top of that, on the day of a wedding ceremony, we have to spend lots of time and energy for decorating and displaying completed floral arrangements at right places.
In the case of graduates who live in Japan where they have their own classes, our school helps seminars held twice a year at various locations in Japan. Our head instructor travels to Japan to support such seminar.
As offering support requires extra time and energy, our instructors and students can make judgements and decisions about whether they should join such projects at their full discretion.
