Ikebana Arrangement Elementary Course
Ikebana Arrangement Elementary Course If you are interested in Japanese cultures and love floral arrangements, we can recommend you to take Ikebana lessons by joining this course that is offered by California Flower Art Academy. The curriculum of this course consists of 10 designs of basic Japanese traditional Ikebana arrangements that are recommended for entry level of students who have no experiences in Ikebana arts.
Ikebana arrangement often uses what is called Kenzan and Suiban. The way of arranging flowers and also the concept behind arrangements is different from European (or American) style of floral arranging. Kenzan is a frog also known as a needle point holder (to hold flowers) having the similar function of floral foam used for European designs. This item is made of metal plate on which uncountable number of needles are mounted. Flower stems are inserted onto needles. Another item often used for Ikebana arrangement is called Suiban. Suiban is a shallow and flat type container in which Kenzan is placed. We enjoy Ikebana arrangements that are often made by using these two items.
Students who join this course can learn how to design and make Ikebana arrangements by making the best use of these items. If you are wondering whether or not you should enroll in this course, how about joining a trial program called Ikebana Short Seminar Program which is offered at very AFFORDABLE PRICE ?.
